Glenn left Coca-Cola to attend Georgetown University in Washington, DC where he received his MBA. He then received a scholarship to pursue doctoral studies in Germany, and attended The Technical University of Berlin in Berlin, Germany where he graduated with a PhD in Management. He then went to work for Chrysler Europe in Brussels, Belgium where he ran marketing for Chrysler's European Motor Shows and Motor Sports (Viper) racing activities. Following the merger between Chrysler and Daimler AG to create DaimlerChrysler AG, Glenn returned to Michigan and spent the next decade working at the Chrysler Tech Center in Auburn Hills, MI, initially on the merger integration team, and then in the Business Strategy, Product Strategy, and Corporate Strategy departments. While in Corporate Strategy, he had an office in both Auburn Hills, MI and Stuttgart, Germany. He has conducted business in more than a dozen countries in Europe and Asia.
