I’ve known Glenn for about 3 years. He would be an excellent addition to the Brighton School Board. He is very smart, and he is a problem solver. He knows how to bring people together and find solutions. This is a major part of what he teaches at MSU, strategy and problem solving. But I think his greatest asset is that he is a good listener. He will listen to the teachers, the parents, the administration, his fellow board members and the students to try and formulate the best outcome for the students in the Brighton school system. I enthusiastically endorse Glenn Hodges for Brighton School Board. — James Dougherty
We are fortunate to have all of the great candidates running for school board this year. I enthusiastically endorse Glenn Hodges as a candidate for the Brighton Area Schools Board of Education. I have known Glenn since we were kids growing up in Brighton. He will have a positive approach to advancing excellence in education. Glenn will bring the following list of talents to the board: (1) management skills and budget skills from the corporate arena, (2) knowledge of the education process from his years as an educator at MSU, (3) treating all people with respect and kindness, and (4) ability to use a team approach to solving problems.
